Wayne Ellington

North Carolina No. 22, Junior, SG

By the Numbers:

PPG: 15.8
FG%: 48.3
APG: 2.7
RPG: 4.9
SPG: 0.9
BPG: 0.2
3P%: 41.7
FT%: 77.7
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 190

Pros:

With a very pretty release and great shooting fundamentals, Ellington is a pure shooter. He has excellent range and can score from just about anywhere on the court.  Can score in bunches and is a solid passer. However, he doesn't always look to pass.

Cons:

He has limited athleticism, meaning he's about reached his athletic potential. He looks to shoot instead of pass most of the time and needs to bulk up some, 205 pounds would be the ideal size for SG of his size. Finally, his defense could use some work. He needs to fully commit to playing defense, in order to become a good defender.

Comparison:

Ray Allen
