Arian Foster Injury: Case Keenum Must Shoulder Further Pressure If RB Remains out
Arian Foster’s heroic attempt to play through injury didn’t last long.
The Houston Texans’ official Twitter accounted tweeted that the halfback was done for the day after playing just a couple downs.

As if 25-year-old Case Keenum didn’t already have enough pressure on him, replacing two-time Pro Bowler Matt Schaub on a team with a 2-5 record in his first NFL action. If he’s without the three-time Pro Bowl running back, that pressure only rises.
However, he didn’t seem to feel it in the first half against the Indianapolis Colts. Keenum outdueled Andrew Luck through two quarters, completing 9-of-17 passes for 208 yards and three touchdowns.
Leading the Texans to a 21-3 lead, Keenum looked more than capable of carrying them the rest of the season. Whether or not he’ll be able to maintain his efficiency when there’s more than one performance of game tape on him remains to be seen.
