North Carolina Uses WR Option Pass for Long TD vs. NC State

Ken Chin@@thekenchinSocial Media StaffNovember 2, 2013

Not often do you see the throwback option pass, but on Saturday, North Carolina pulled it off to perfection.

Wide receiver Ryan Switzer took the backward pass and uncorked a strike to wide open Quinshad Davis for Davis' second touchdown of the day! This score propelled UNC to a 21-16 second-quarter lead over NC State.

A great play call at the perfect time!

Thanks to ESPN for the video.
