The Georgia Bulldogs hold on to defeat the Florida Gators 23-20.
Aaron Murray led the Bulldogs with 258 passing yards and one touchdown. Todd Gurley, who made his return to the lineup after missing the last three games, rushed for 100 yards on 17 carries.
The Bulldogs defense came up big, as Garrison Smith notched two sacks. Corey Moore also had a sack in the win.
Georgia improves to 5-3 (4-2 SEC) while the Gators drop to 4-4 (3-3).

As for Florida, the Gators are out of the SEC East race. They still have to keep their heads up, because if the Gators can win out, they can play in a respectable bowl game. That said, Florida fans can't be happy with the way the season has played out.
With the win, the Bulldogs are still in the hunt for the SEC East title. They still need help, as Missouri needs to lose two more SEC games in order for the Bulldogs to have a chance.
Florida's player of the game has to go to Kelvin Taylor. His running between and outside the tackles was a big reason the Gators were able to make the near comeback.
The player of the game for Georgia has to go to Todd Gurley. He was not at 100 percent, but he fought through the injuries and fatigue. He proved he's the team's most valuable player.

That's it. Georgia wins it, 23-20. It's the third consecutive win for the Bulldogs against the Gators, which is the first time that has happened in nearly 25 years.

Now both teams are getting into another scuffle. This could get real ugly when the clock strikes zero.
Oh man. Florida gets called for a personal-foul penalty, and the Bulldogs can now burn the clock even more.
Georgia converts another third down and continues to burn the clock. Gurley and Brendan Douglas had huge runs on this series. And Murray completed a huge third-down pass to Rhett McGowan.
Georgia's offensive line is taking over. It is pushing the the Florida defensive line, which is leading to the clock melting away.

Thanks to a Corey Moore sack, Georgia gets a stop on defense. The Bulldogs offense has one more shot to get seven points and possibly put the game away.
Florida keeps the drive alive because of a Georgia substitution penalty, which was after a timeout. The Bulldogs have to be smarter than that if they want to win this game.
Dawson is able to walk off on his own power. We'll see if he returns to the game.
Georgia CB Sheldon Dawson is down on the field. The trainers are working on his right leg.
Georgia went for it on fourth down and could not convert. Gurley was short by one yard. He looks gassed and has no explosion.
