Sturgis rebounded from a rough stretch Thursday against the Bengals. The rookie kicker out of the University of Florida missed his first kick of the night, but came back to connect on field goals from 36 and 44 yards out in the 22-20 OT victory over the Bengals. The 44-yarder helped send the game into overtime.
Sturgis had missed five of his last six field goal attempts before nailing his final two boots of the game, which certainly should help him gain his confidence back. Sturgis also hit two PATs and ended up with his highest point total since October 6 against Baltimore.
