Jared Cook: Week 9 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 30, 2013

After posting 141 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1, Cook has been one of the more disappointing tight ends in fantasy in the seven games since. Over those seven games, he's averaged just over three catches for 33.4 yards and has failed to live up to the preseason hype that had him pegged as one of this year's top sleepers.
The Rams' Week 9 match-up with the Titans, Cook's former team, presents him with a nice opportunity to break out of this slump as they rank just 27th in the league against the tight end and give up an average of 56.2 yards per game to the position. If quarterback Kellen Clemens finds a way to lean on his tight end, Cook has the potential to be a nice sleeper this week.
