Kellen Clemens: Week 9 Fantasy Outlook

Despite throwing for just 158 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions last week against Seattle, Rams coach Jeff Fisher endorsed Clemens as his starting quarterback for their Week 9 match-up with Tennessee on Sunday. He's basically going from the frying pan and into the fire though as the Titans pass defense is giving up just 220 passing yards per game this season and has allowed just six touchdowns through the air this year.
While this is Clemens' ninth season in the NFL, his inexperience at the helm is much more noticeable against these stronger defenses. While he was able to lean heavily on running back Zac Stacy last week, he may not have that option available to him this time around as Stacy has been hobbled by a sprained ankle. With Daryl Richardson in the backfield, the Titans won't have to focus too heavily on clogging the middle, thus making it more difficult for Clemens to find his receivers downfield.
