Wilson is looking to avoid the same struggles this week that he had last Monday when the Rams held him to just 139 passing yards. He did have two touchdowns, but the offense had plenty of trouble moving the ball up and down the field and Wilson needs to employ a strong and accurate passing game to make that happen against the Buccaneers.
The Tampa Bay pass defense is giving up an average of 244 yards per game and has allowed 13 touchdowns through the air. Wilson will need to find his receivers on short routes in order to counter the Bucs' defensive backs. With Percy Harvin potentially returning, Wilson would have another strong and reliable receiver on whom to lean. With Harvin, Golden Tate and tight end Zach Miller, he should be able to rack up some decent passing yard totals and hopefully find the endzone again.
