Rivers will lead the Chargers on the road to face Washington this week. With two weeks to prepare, he should dissect the Redskins defense 14 days after he helped San Diego rout the Jaguars in Week 7.
Rivers completed 22-of-26 passes for 285 yards in that game to give him 2,132 passing yards, placing him among the league's best 10 quarterbacks. More importantly, he has San Diego above .500 headed into Sunday's game with a 2-5 squad. If he continues his efficient play, the Chargers will be in the thick of the playoff race at the end of the season. While the elite may rest upon locking up homefield advantage, Rivers is likely to remain a fantasy asset through Week 17.
