Harrison Barnes Injury: Updates on Warriors Forward's Foot, Likely Return Date
Kurt Helin of ProBasketballTalk.com reported the specifics of the injury on Tuesday. Head coach Mark Jackson noted that Barnes will come off the bench when he does return, per the Bay Area News Group's Marcus Thompson:

Barnes made his season debut Wednesday against the Timberwolves.
From Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle:
Mark Jackson said Harrison Barnes felt fine Wed., a day after practicing for the 1st time since Oct. 6. He's a game-time decision tonight.— Rusty Simmons (@Rusty_SFChron) November 6, 2013
From Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group:
Mark Jackson said Barnes took part in shootaround but won't play tonight. Will practice Tuesday. Could play Wednesday— Marcus Thompson (@gswscribe) November 4, 2013
Barnes was the seventh overall pick in the 2012 draft out of North Carolina, and after starting 81 games as a rookie and being a solid role player, he came on strong in the playoffs, putting up over 16 points per game.
The 21-year-old will be relegated to bench duty, though, as the starting five is projected to include guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, and big men David Lee and Andrew Bogut. Prized trade acquisition Andre Iguodala will take Barnes' place at the 3.
Despite the promise Barnes flashed in the postseason, he is still a developing young player with plenty of upside.
After being pressured in college to be the No. 1 star, he can ease that tension on this loaded squad while still being a valuable contributor en route to realizing his immense potential.
However, Barnes' continued blossoming will have to wait at least until after the Warriors are done with back-to-back tangles with the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers respectively.
