Alastair Cook and Stuart Broad are both injury concerns for England after it was revealed that they will miss the first Ashes warm-up game on Thursday.

The key duo, England's captains in all three forms of the game, missed Tuesday's training session following back complaints. Cook told Sky Sports:

It was very similar to what we did last time in 2010, three warm-up games should give you enough time for some time in the middle and some miles in the legs for the bowlers.

We've got a long build-up, I think you need that for such an important tour.
