Brown has made little impact this season, as starter LeSean McCoy leads the league in rushing with 733 yards on the ground. McCoy has also rushed more times (156) than any other player in the NFL thus far in 2013.
Despite McCoy's heavy workload, Brown could see increased action with rookie Matt Barkley starting under center. Coach Chip Kelly has cited time of possession as the most overrated statistic in football, but he may have to change his tune with his top two quarterbacks dinged up. Even if the offense isn't altered, expect the Eagles to run more and give Barkley easy throws on screens, slants and the like. As a result, Brown could see decent touches for the first time this season.
