Brent Celek: Week 9 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 29, 2013

Celek is battling rookie Zach Ertz for top billing at the tight end position, but neither player is worth much of a look in fantasy circles. Neither player was performing particularly well with Michael Vick and Nick Foles under center, and this Sunday the Eagles will turn to rookie third-string gunslinger Matt Barkley.
The tight end has been a forgotten position in general in Chip Kelly's newly-installed, high-octane offense. Celek has just 14 catches for 232 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Ertz has 14 catches for 201 yards and zero touchdowns. With Barkley expected to struggle, it's safe to ignore both Celek and Ertz.
