St. Louis Radio Announcer Laughs at Boston for Holding Wong Before Pickoff

ST LOUIS, MO - OCTOBER 27: Kolten Wong

Many people wondered why the Boston Red Sox chose to hold St. Louis Cardinals pinch runner Kolten Wong, but it was the Cardinals' radio announcer, Mike Shannon, who was caught laughing at the decision. Oops.

Once Boston closer Koji Uehara picked Wong off, fellow announcer John Rooney got to have his say. It was just another crazy moment in this year's World Series. Unfortunately for him, Shannon picked a bad time to laugh and quickly saw the Red Sox even up the series.

Skip ahead to the 1:59 mark to hear Shannon's call.

Hat tip to SB Nation for the find.
