Green-Ellis had 11 carries for 33 yards in the Bengals’ win over the New York Jets. He was not a factor in the passing game, as he did not receive a target.
Green-Ellis’s lackluster performance came largely as a direct result of the Bengals’ downfield passing game which thrived against the Jets. With Marvin Jones’s career-high four touchdowns and the steady presence of A.J. Green, it was simply not in the cards for Green-Ellis to receive many touches.
