Deshaun Watson is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country, and he will have a national platform to showcase his talent on Friday night. Watson's Gainesville High School (Georgia) team will play Loganville High School (Georgia) at 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
However, Boiling Springs (South Carolina) will take on Gaffney (South Carolina) on ESPN3 at 7:30 ET. Both games will feature several future college football players, as Watson is not the only top recruit who will be in the spotlight.
A speedy receiver committed to an SEC school will be looking to show off his talent, while a sleeper outside linebacker prospect will attempt to raise his recruiting profile. Plus, a stud offensive tackle from the 2015 class will be on the field.
Although he is not the biggest linebacker at only 5'11" and 195 pounds, 2-star recruit Devan Stringer is a player who can hold his own with anyone.
He plays with good toughness, as he doesn't back down from bigger players attacking him. Stringer has adequate speed to chase the ball across the box from the flanks. He will blitz with force when asked to, plus he is a reliable tackler.
The Appalachian State commit could add bulk to remain at linebacker, but strong safety is a possibility.
Although he is not as sudden as New York Giants' running back David Wilson, Hyleck Foster stirs up some memories of the former Virginia Tech star.
At 5'10" and 176 pounds, Foster is a small running back who has big-back strength. He has good vision to locate holes behind the line of scrimmage before he attacks front-seven alignments downhill.
The 3-star prospect runs with excellent strength and balance, as he is rarely knocked off his track. He has an incredible knack for gaining yards after contact.
After arriving on the second level, Foster displays great build-up speed in the open field to rumble for big gains. He is committed to Marshall.
A 2015 prospect, Noah Green is a talented offensive tackle who is already considered a 4-star recruit. Possessing a 6'5", 275-pound frame, he can win battles in the trenches with athleticism.
Green has great quickness out of stance to deny defensive linemen from jumping on top of him at the snap. He quickly gets in proper positioning, plus he bends naturally at the knees. Green also has the ability to pull, trap, seal and reach on various running plays.
The Clemson commit is a junior that will be among the nation's best at his position next year.
Shaq Davidson is one of the most talented receivers in the country. The dynamic 4-star prospect can make plays as a runner, receiver and returner.
At 6'0" and 170 pounds, Davidson has great quickness off the line. He can wiggle his way around cornerbacks attempting to re-route him and has outstanding speed. Davidson plucks the ball naturally with his hands before transferring upfield quickly with an intent to score.
Although he needs to add strength and bulk to his frame, Davidson is an athletic offensive threat who can make explosive plays in the passing game. He is committed to South Carolina.
All eyes will be on 4-star quarterback Deshaun Watson on Friday night. He is among the top overall players in the nation, as he has the skills to be a star at Clemson.
Watson, who is 6'3" and 200 pounds, has great physical and mental tools to command an offense. He works through his progressions to find open targets before making good decisions with the ball. Watson sets up quickly in the pocket, is quick with his delivery and he has great arm strength.
The accurate passer can make solid throws on the move, plus he will use his legs to make plays as a runner.
Watson and Davidson can be found on the 2014 Bleacher Report College Football Recruiting Heat Map. While watching both games on Friday night, use this great resource to find information about many other great recruits around the country!
