Roethlisberger completed 29-of-45 passes for 275 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the Steelers’ 21-18 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. His only rush went for one yard.
Roethlisberger turned the ball over for the fifth time in seven games. Not coincidentally, the pair of games in which he does not have turnovers were wins for the Steelers. He was forced to throw more often Sunday than the original game plan probably called for, but he must cut down on the interceptions and sacks -- he was taken down five times -- in order to maximize his chances for success.
