Moreno had 14 carries for 44 rushing yards Sunday against the Washington Redskins. He also had six catches on six targets for 89 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The Broncos’ running back was once again the dynamic weapon he has been all season catching balls from Manning. His problem has been running between the tackles, something rarely asked of a back in the Denver offense. Moreno averaged just 3.1 yards per carry Sunday, which was actually his best rushing performance in three weeks.
