Kyle Williams: Recapping Williams's Week 8 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor October 28, 2013

Williams ran the ball once for 10 yards, caught one pass on three targets for seven yards, returned two kickoffs for 26 yards, and returned two punts for four yards during the 49ers 42-10 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Though he wears many hats throughout a game, Williams doesn't hold much value in fantasy circles.
Due to an overall lack of production, Williams has seen his role on the offense diminish greatly over the last five weeks and his primary focus is now on special teams in the return game. He may have seen three targets in this one, but once Mario Manningham returns in Week 10, and then eventually Michael Crabtree shortly thereafter, it's feasible that Williams won't see another pass thrown his way for the duration of the season.
