PSV Eindhoven lost 2-1 away at Roda JC, but the defeat was made worse right at the death by a sickening injury to PSV's goalkeeper, Przemyslaw Tyton.

The Poland goalkeeper was committed to making a stop from a free kick deep in stoppage time at the end of the match, but his body weight and speed took him straight into the post.

He was knocked out cold, stretchered off the field and taken to hospital.

According to a report from Polish website Przeglad Sportowy, translated by Chris Wright of Who Ate All the Pies, Tyton's mother was in attendance and seated behind the goal when the injury occurred.

Fortunately, the goalkeeper was not seriously hurt and is expected to return to training this week.
