Taylor carried the ball 14 times for 38 yards during the Cardinals' 27-13 win over the Falcons on Sunday. With Rashard Mendenhall sidelined with a toe injury and Andre Ellington working as the lead back, Taylor was able to see a significant number of carries as the new change-of-pace back and fared reasonably well.
Though Taylor averaged just 2.7 yards per carry, he still had some nice moments in his most extensive workload this season. Should Mendenhall remain sidelined, Taylor would continue his work in this role, but there's also the chance that, even if Mendenhall played, Taylor could continue to see some carries moving forward.
