Emmanuel Sanders' Updated Fantasy Stock After Impressive Showing vs. Raiders
Emmanuel Sanders continued to state his case for fantasy relevance with a sturdy performance against the Oakland Raiders.
Sanders caught seven passes on 11 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown during the Pittsburgh Steelers' 21-18 defeat. He now has 31 receptions and 396 yards through seven games this season as Ben Roethlisberger's second target.
How should fantasy owners treat Sanders going forward?
While the fourth-year wideout has never caught more than two touchdowns during the season, he has been featured much more prominently in the offense this year in Mike Wallace's absence. Like Antonio Brown, Sanders is a high-volume option who collects multiple receptions most days, even if none of them come in the end zone.
Anyone getting as much looks as Sanders should also get a look from fantasy managers. He's not a star who can win a matchup on his own, but Sanders is a solid No. 3 whose floor is much higher than other options in his tier.
In point-per-reception formats, Sanders deserves even more praise.
