The San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars will be playing in Week 8, and while it likely won't be a close game, it's still worth looking at projections for some of the game's top fantasy players.

Coming into the game, the 49ers have won four straight games after losing two straight to the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks.  Meanwhile, the Jaguars have yet to win a game, going 0-7 and easily looking like the worst team in the NFL.

Still there are big-time fantasy players on both teams in this one, so let's predict how many points they score in this Week 8 matchup.

Note: Any information regarding points scored is based off of ESPN's standard scoring leagues.

Colin Kaepernick was one of the most exciting fantasy quarterbacks in 2012, and it looked like he was on pace to do that once again after scoring 30 points in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers.

However, he's had three games with single-digit performances, with two of them coming in losses.  The good news, however, is that Jim Harbaugh is starting to let Kaepernick run the ball once again, as he came up with 68 yards and a touchdown on the ground last week, putting up 19 total points.

The Jaguars have struggled to contain opposing quarterbacks, but they're even worse against the run.  They allow more rushing yards than any team, giving up 153.3 yards per game on the ground.

With a big game on the ground last week and a team that struggles defending the run this week, expect some big numbers from Kaepernick, especially when running the ball.

Prediction: 28 Points (3 Total TDs, 190 Passing Yards, 35 Rushing Yards)

Since coming off of the suspension, Justin Blackmon has been the one impressive offensive player for the Jaguars.

In his first two games back, Blackmon had back-to-back 19-point outings, posing a total of 326 receiving yards and a touchdown.  Things weren't as impressive last week, as Blackmon caught six passes for just 58 yards against the San Diego Chargers.

This week, the Jaguars will be playing against a tough pass defense.  The 49ers are allowing just 219.4 passing yards per game and nine touchdowns through the air.

However, Blackmon is still a very talented receiver.  He's not going to have another 19-point game, but he should have some respectable enough stats, especially once the 49ers let up late in the game.

Prediction: 12 Points (1 TD, 67 Receiving Yards)

Despite the fact that he's been constantly overshadowed by Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski over the past couple of seasons, Vernon Davis is still one of the best fantasy tight ends out there.

With the 49ers missing several key receivers this season, including Mario Manningham and Michael Crabtree, the team has needed Davis to step up.  He's done just that through the first seven games, catching 26 passes for 466 yards and six touchdowns.

In Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals, Davis had his best game of the season.  He caught eight passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns, putting up 30 points.

The Jaguars have not played well against opposing tight ends this season.  According to ESPN.com, Jacksonville has given up 432 yards and five touchdowns against tight ends this season.  Opposing tight ends have averaged 9.6 points per game against them, yet they haven't played against a tight end like Davis through seven games.

With how well Davis is playing right now, expect yet another big performance from the start tight end.

Prediction: 17 Points (2 TD, 58 Receiving Yards)
