ESPN College GameDay Will Head to Florida State for Rivalry Battle vs. Miami
Despite the Miami Hurricanes’ best efforts to drop a shocker lately, they will roll into Tallahassee unscathed to take on the also undefeated Florida State Seminoles next Saturday (8 p.m. ET on ABC).
And ESPN’s College GameDay will be in attendance.
According to the show’s official Twitter account, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the gang will be setting up shop outside of Doak Campbell Stadium for the first time since last September:

The news shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. However, it was a minute away from being in jeopardy.
That’s because Miami needed a Duke Johnson touchdown run with 53 seconds remaining to pull ahead of Wake Forest for good, 24-21, on Saturday. This comes just a little over a week after the team needed another late touchdown run—this time with 16 seconds—to defeat lowly North Carolina, 27-23.
But pretty or not, the Hurricanes will come into the pivotal ACC showdown undefeated.
What will be the result of this game?
On the other hand, Florida State has been demolishing every opponent that’s stood in its way.
The Seminoles made light work of North Carolina State on Saturday, winning 49-17. This comes on the heels of a 63-0 thrashing of then-No. 25 Maryland on Oct. 5, and a 51-14 corralling of then-No. 3 Clemson just last weekend.
Needless to say, Miami will need to put in a better effort than what it’s been showing over the last couple of weeks if the team wants to still be in it at halftime.
This will be the Hurricanes first appearance on GameDay since 2008. For Florida State, it’ll be the team’s second appearance in three weeks.
With just Oklahoma State's trip to Lubbock to face Texas Tech as the only other matchup between currently ranked teams, it looks like ESPN made a good choice.
