Texas A&M 56, Vanderbilt 24—Final

Led by Johnny Manziel despite an injured arm, Texas A&M jumped out to an early 28-0 lead, and the SEC matchup appeared to be decided in the second quarter.

But Patton Robinette, who was making his first career start, led the Commodores to 17 straight points and an 11-point halftime deficit.

Aggies’ defensive back Howard Matthews, however, changed the complexion of the game with a pick-six on the first play of the second half.

Eventually, Texas A&M emptied the bench, and third-string quarterback Kenny Hill even took some snaps.

The Aggies improve to 6-2 on the season and are bowl-eligible for the fifth-consecutive season. Vanderbilt's record is evened up at 4-4.
