Jordan Lynch Posts Absurd Stat Line Against Eastern Michigan
There have been few players as exciting to watch in college football as Jordan Lynch, and he's posted some absurd numbers against Eastern Michigan this week.
Just through the first half, Lynch had already gone 13-for-17 passing with 163 yards and three touchdowns. While that on its own would have been fantastic, he also ran for 94 yards with a touchdown and had a 17-yard touchdown reception as the Northern Illinois Huskies went up 38-3 before the half.
With five total touchdowns in just one half, you can bet that Lynch was feeling it.
Before the game on Saturday, Lynch's numbers were already some of the most impressive in the nation. He was completing 61.3 percent of his passes for 1,488 yards, 14 touchdowns and five interceptions. On the ground, he was averaging 6.8 yards per carry with 932 yards and seven touchdowns.
As a MAC quarterback, Lynch isn't going to get a lot of Heisman hype. However, he can be happy that he's well on his way to leading his team to a potential undefeated season and a prestigious bowl game at the end of the year.
