If you're confused by the title of this story, you're not alone....me too!

Just kidding—allow me to clear it up!

For whatever reasons, we as human beings put a lot of stock in the good fortune that will be bestowed upon us if or when we do a something on a specific day at a specific time during a specific year.

For example, millions of couples were married on July 7, 2007, (7-7-7) hoping that day, more than any other would bode well for the longevity of their nuptials since it was considered the luckiest day to take vows.

Others needing invasive and life saving medical procedures may have chosen that day as well or another date with a special meaning to them, like their parents or child's birthday.

If you ever watch the game show Deal or No Deal, the majority of people pick a certain case number because it is their birthday, their wedding day, their child's birthday, or their age for example....

Maybe we all have OCD but having surgery, getting married, quitting a job, picking a case on Deal or No Deal, or something as simple as eating at a specific predetermined date, time and place peculiarly seems unique to us, although, conversely it really isn't.

Or maybe it is....?

I'll just digress and move on before my head explodes!

Right about now, you may be asking yourself the following:

What's the point of all this?

Has this guy lost his mind?

What is all this senseless rambling?

This has nothing to do with Ohio State football dude so why did you waste your time writing it and more importantly, why the Hell did I waste my time reading it?

Alas, the reason for all of this is ACTUALLY related to quite a unique example indeed of another numbers anomaly and believe it or not, it is related to Ohio State football.

It's a simple equation of sorts that may have passed you by yesterday, Saturday the 23rd of May, 2000 and 9.

Here it is:

2009 = 2009

How could you have overlooked such a important day in the space-time continuum?

Ponder it for a second, or a minute, or a few minutes, or maybe an hour, or all day, but hopefully not...

I hope and trust it's significance will come to you, but if not, I'll be sure to clue you in if you post a comment.

I'm sure you've figured it out, or you will soon...but if not, make sure to include your email address if you want to know just exactly what the heck 2009 = 2009 means...or maybe I can just send Biff over to knock on your forehead a few times...

"Hello McFly....anybody home...?"

Now, let's Go BUCKS to the Future!
