Lindsay Clubine: Pictures of Clay Buchholz's Model Wife
The Boston Red Sox inch closer to the end of the 2013 World Series with a resurgent, albeit exhausted, Clay Buchholz. One of the bigger stars off the field continues to be his lovely wife, Lindsay Clubine.
As The Boston Globe reported back in 2009, Buchholz and Clubine married after about a year of dating. Clubine had featured on the game show Deal or No Deal as one of the show's iconic models.
Wanting to bring some class to the proceedings, the two were married at The Trump National Golf Club, but it was hardly all about their marriage celebration. The same report states the wedding also helped raise money for the Red Sox Foundation.
Since that time, the two have enjoyed quite the rise to prominence for Buchholz. The right-hander garnered a solid 2.33 ERA the following season (2010), and he could have delivered one of his most complete campaigns this year if it weren't for a nagging injury.
Despite starting just 16 games in 2013, he managed to garner 12 wins and post a 1.74 ERA. At 29 years old, Buchholz has transformed into one of the game's premier pitchers.
If so, she certainly has her hands full, as the couple welcomed an adorable baby daughter, Colbi Dawn, back in 2010.
Buchholz will certainly appreciate all the support coming from Red Sox nation, especially from his loving family.
As The New York Daily News reports, the pitcher has been dealing with shoulder tightness and will now get the ball in Game 4 instead of the previous game, as was presumed before the series started.
If Game 1, or the games Buchholz started during the regular season, is any guide, the couple will have something very special to celebrate this October.
