Rumors continue to swirl around Harvin, claiming that the receiver could make his first appearance of the season during the Seahawks' match-up with the Rams this week. He has been out all year after undergoing hip surgery over the summer but seems to be ahead of schedule in the recovery process.
The fact that the Seahawks are traveling to St. Louis this week, may actually lend more credence to the belief that he will not return just yet. With the Rams playing on turf, the Seahawks are not going to want to put any unnecessary wear and tear on Harvin and if he does actually play, his snaps will most certainly be limited and he'll probably be used primarily as a decoy. A return in Week 9 or 10 seems much more realistic.
