Rashard Mendenhall has long been rumored to be on the outs as the primary ball carrier for the Cardinals. He's failed to rush for more than 50 yards in each of his last five games and has just two touchdowns in that span.
If Mendenhall wants to stave off Andre Ellington, he's going to need to provide some sort of spark from the backfield. Unfortunately, that spark is going to have to come against a defense that allows just 99.7 rushing yards per game and has given up just two rushing touchdowns all year.
