Palmer will look to rebound from a mediocre Week 7 performance when the Cardinals host the Falcons, a team whose defense is allowing an average of 267 passing yards per game and 14 touchdowns through the air this season. What seems most encouraging is that opposing quarterbacks are registering a 104.7 passer rating against the Falcons and have been prone to giving up the big play somewhat often.
Palmer has struggled often this season, throwing 14 interceptions to just eight touchdowns and has thrown for more than 250 yards in just three of the team's seven games. While the Falcons may give up a fair amount of passing yards each week, their pass rush has yielded 14 sacks on the season. Considering Arizona's offensive line concerns, this could be a long day for Palmer.
