MLB Knuckleheads of the Week

There’s not a whole lot of baseball left to be played in the 2013 Major League Baseball season, but the knuckleheadery is ongoing.

That’s good news for B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar and MLB Lead Writer Zachary D. Rymer. They’re always on the lookout for fodder for their “MLB Knucklehead of the Week” segment, and the past week presented them with some classics.

Gabe couldn’t help but notice Yasiel Puig’s bumbling in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series, as he played precisely the sort of defense that would make Tom Emanski cry.

As for Zachary, he was left shaking when his head when Prince Fielder tried to run the bases in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series. Fielder was put in a position where he had to make a crafty baserunning play in the sixth inning, and it…well, it didn’t go well.

Leave your comments, questions and angry rants below if you have any. You’re also welcome to follow Gabe and Zachary on Twitter.
