Dan Carpenter: Week 8 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 23, 2013

Carpenter, back in his old stomping grounds of Miami, nailed all three of his field-goal attempts in Week 7. On tap in Week 8, a trip to New Orleans, where the opportunities could be slim for Carpenter thanks to the Saints' stingy defense and productive offense.
Carpenter's hit 15 of 16 field goals on the season, including three attempts from 50-plus. Those numbers look particularly good in light of his replacement in Miami, Caleb Sturgis, being just 10-for-12 on the season, including missing a key 51-yarder last week. Carpenter's a middling option at kicker this week; there may be more intriguing names on the wire.
