Ryan Tannehill: Week 8 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 23, 2013

Tannehill had a fairly predictable game against the Bills last week, passing for 194 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions against a Buffalo defense that gives up yards and points, but also ballhawks effectively. This week, he draws a much stingier New England defense, and after failing to pass for more than one touchdown in a game over the first five weeks, he promises to return to that uninspiring level.
Turnovers have turned into quite the issue for Tannehill, who's thrown nine touchdowns this season, but has turned the ball over 11 times (seven interceptions and four fumbles lost). As a mistake-prone quarterback facing an opportunistic -- if somewhat undermanned -- New England defense, his main fantasy value this week is likely to manifest itself in helping out owners of the Pats' D.
