Lamar Miller: Week 8 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor October 23, 2013

Miller again rushed for a strong average last week against Buffalo, but again received so few carries -- just nine -- that it annihilated his fantasy relevance. He put up 43 yards, while Daniel Thomas carried 12 times for 60 yards. While there's no doubt Miller's the better back, it's hard to count on much from him this week against New England.
Miller's fantasy owners have to be hoping that the Dolphins follow the Jets' strategy from their Week 7 win over the Pats, pounding the ball in the run game over and over, but considering that hasn't been Miami's game so far -- not to mention that they have more playmakers at receiver (if not at QB) than New York -- it's hard to bet on. Miller still hasn't carried more than 14 times in a game, and even that was back in Week 2, which feels like a long time ago now.
