Mike Brown: Week 8 Fantasy Outlook
Brown flirted with some success in Week 6 due to Cecil Shorts' shoulder injury, but shined in Week 7 even with the return of Shorts. He caught five passes for a career-high 120 yards against San Diego, and hopes to do so again in Week 8 against San Francisco.
It's difficult to fully get a read on Brown. On one hand, his team passes often from behind, and he's showing he can be a viable weapon even with two more talented options ahead of him. On the other, he's a former college quarterback who is still learning his position. He's worth adding to most rosters with the hope he can sustain this surge, but he shouldn't be inserted into lineups outside of very deep formats until he does it one more time.
