Jones is in Oakland to face the Raiders this week. He is still slotted for backup duty behind Le’Von Bell and, barring an injury, will not see much playing time.
Jones carried five times for 16 yards in the Steelers’ win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday and is no longer highlighted in Pittsburgh’s game plan. The presence of Bell makes the well-traveled back nothing more than a secondary option.
