90+2'—Final minute here for la Real to find something, but they've over-hit the through-ball and United should wrap this up.
There's huge gaps in the Sociedad defence. They must be Basque separatists.— Nooruddean (@BeardedGenius) October 23, 2013
88'—Kagawa breaks down the right and fires a good cross in and Rooney fluffs his feet...but it's ruled offside! La Real still in it!
86'—Fantastic goalkeeping from Bravo, rushes out and clears at the legs of Ashley Young as he shapes up to plant a second goal into the back of the net. He's been excellent tonight.
84'—United have blown hot and cold tonight but still lead 1-0. If they can hold out it's a morale-boosting win...but they have five minutes plus stoppage time to negotiate here.
81'—United, on the break, surge forward through Rooney but his goal-bound shot is plucked from the air in dramatic fashion by Bravo.
Young is on the left, Kagawa has gone central.
79'—Ruben Pardo fires just wide from a free-kick outside United's box, and Ashley Young replaces Javier Hernandez for the final 10 minutes.
Agirretxe on, Seferovic off
Castro on, Zurutuza off
70'—Rooney is slipped in down the right after Valencia knocks a goal kick down and his powerful shot flies over!

65'—Kagawa misses a golden chance to take the lead as Valencia fires a low cross in from the right and the Japanese ace fails to control it in the box. First time shot Shinji!
62'—OFF THE POST!
Man Utd counter and Valencia has acres on the right. He fires it past Bravo but strikes the post, and Kagawa's follow-up is blocked!
61'—Rooney fires into Bravo's arms after Kagawa's sensational turn infield opened up a realm of space. United coming back into this. Next goal key.
58'—Smalling comes on for Rafael as United remove their red card threat.
53'—What a save!
Bravo saves at point-blank range as Jones connects with Kagawa's back-post cross! Amazing!
50'—More chances for Sociedad! Zurutuza fires into a block of bodies, Seferovic follows suit and Evans skews a clearance over his own bar!
46'—Chance for Real Sociedad immediately as Griezmann fires a cross in and Vela's outstretched leg just failed to make contact!
United lead through an early own goal, but Real Sociedad have come back into it and hit the post via Antoine Griezmann.
45'—Kagawa breaks into the area and squares it, but la Real clear their lines for a corner.
41'—HITS THE POST!
Real Sociedad have a free kick. Xabi Prieto takes it too early, gets a booking (obviously), but Griezmann's second effort smashes the post!
38'—Giggs goes over under pressure and Bergara now gets a yellow card. Odds dropping fast on this game finishing with 11 vs. 11.
Real Sociedad have been enjoying a dominant phase, would be beneficial to United to see some of the ball here.
33'—Now Kagawa goes into the book for going to ground. This referee runs a tight ship indeed.
