Tyler Breeze's WWE NXT career is zooming forward, and Veronica Lane has started the ignition on hers.

The prospects featured in this week's NXT news are all in various stages of fulfilling their WWE dreams. Breeze is reportedly garnering backstage praise as he looks to become the next egomaniac to become a part of the main roster. Lane recently made her in-ring debut, and a former Golden Gopher took a step toward joining the developmental system.

Two big names from WWE will soon appear for NXT, serving as inspiration for those three aspiring Superstars.

Positive Reviews for Tyler Breeze

Apparently, it's not just Tyler Breeze who thinks highly of Tyler Breeze.

The selfie-taking prospect has folks in charge taking notice of his work. PWInsider reports, via WrestleZone.com, that Breeze "has been receiving praise from NXT officials and co-workers, as they feel he has impressive heel mannerisms."

After running through a number of ring names, including Mike Dalton, Breeze's current gimmick allows him to stand out. His arrogance simmers onscreen, and he has embraced this character as wholeheartedly as Fandango has.

This may just be his ticket to the main roster.

Mike Rallis took a major step in his journey from the gridiron to the wrestling ring.

After not making an NFL team, the former middle linebacker at the University of Minnesota instead chose to pursue his dream of becoming a WWE Superstar. Nate Gotlieb of The Minnesota Daily featured Rallis in a recent article.

Gotlieb writes that Rallis contacted Jim Ross and received an initial tryout in Orlando, Fla., where "WWE officials told him they were pleased with his on-camera charisma."

WWE was impressed enough to book him for a second tryout, which he is training for now.

Veronica Lane (real name: Erika Hammond) wrestled in a six-Diva tag match, her first with NXT.

Lane paired with Sasha Banks and Charlotte against Emma, Bayley and the current NXT women's champ Paige, per WrestleZone.com, on Oct. 17. She worked the same match the next night.

The debuting Diva's gimmick is that of a beauty pageant queen who refers to herself as "Miss NXT."

Lane certainly looks the part of a WWE Diva, and she's now working toward gaining the in-ring experience she needs going forward.

Fans planning an NXT-centric vacation may need to adjust their itinerary.

The Nov. 8 NXT show in Jacksonville, Fla. has been cancelled, per WrestlingInc.com. WWE NXT's Twitter account writes that the show will be rescheduled, though no dates for that have been announced yet.

NXT action is only about a three-hour drive away, though.

The show on Nov. 9 at the Lakeland Armory in Lakeland, Fla. is still on and tickets are currently available.

One of the most appealing aspects of NXT is the intermingling of prospects and main-roster Superstars. The NXT roster is set to face off against a giant and get some words of wisdom from a man in gold face paint.

Big Show is set to appear at the Oct. 24 tapings, according to WWE NXT's Twitter account. Goldust announced via Twitter that he would be appearing soon as a guest trainer.

To explain why Big Show, who was fired on a recent episode of Raw, would be showing up for this event, the official line is that he is fulfilling his "contractual obligations."
