Jason Schmidt is slated to start for the Albuquerque Isotopes tonight in Albuquerque.

Schimdt has not appeared in a major league game since 2007.

The three-time All-Star is trying to come back from a shoulder injury.  He signed a three-year, $47 million contract with the Dodgers but has only has six starts and one win with the Dodgers.

Schmidt threw 94 and 101 pitches in two previous rehab starts for the Dodgers class A Inland Empire.  I think his pitch count will be similar tonight.

Check in tomorrow for pictures and a report on Schmidt's first start in Albuquerque.

The Salt Lake Bee's will start Mike McDonald vs. the Isotopes at Isotopes Park at 7:05 p.m. MT.
