Gareth Bale Mocked as Forrest Gump in Bizarre Spanish Comedy Sketch

Gareth Bale's big-money move to Real Madrid has put him in the spotlight, and the Wales winger has been sent up in a bizarre Spanish comedy sketch that compares him to Forrest Gump.

Gump, portrayed by Tom Hanks in an Oscar-winning film, was not exactly the brightest spark, and Spanish TV show Crackovia apparently saw enough similarities to make the connection.

The sketch shows the former Tottenham man being refused the chance to sit down on an airplane beside any of his teammates—except Sergio Ramos.

In the changing room, the pair then discuss how to stop Barcelona (most of the plans involve Messi before Ramos switches to discussing Neymar), but injury strikes and rules Bale out of the Clasico.

In real life, however, Bale is expected to be fit for the match, which takes place this weekend.
