Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton Feud Has Been Enhanced with Brie Bella's Addition
Any long-running feud is constantly in need of new elements and developments if it hopes to remain fresh and interesting.
Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton is one such feud and after two months of fighting over the WWE Championship, the introduction of Brie Bella to their angle has done much to help enhance it.
Throughout his rise to the main event, Bryan has been resilient. No matter how many times he has been beaten down and left for dead by The Shield at the request of The Authority, he has always gotten back up and never quit his quest towards the WWE title.
Brie Bella's introduction to the story serves two purposes. First, it allows Bryan to have a weakness that cannot be chalked up to being on the wrong end of the numbers game or an abusive, power-hungry regime. She is the love of Bryan's life and her safety can be used to manipulate the native of Aberdeen, Washington.
Do you agree with the decision to involve Brie Bella in the WWE title feud?
It provides a weakness that Bryan cannot control. It also helps to create sympathy within the WWE Universe for the story's hero.
Brie's role also allowed Randy Orton to dip back into the bag of devious, vile tricks that made him the top, most despicable heel in the company in years past.
On the October 14 episode of Raw, Orton goaded Bryan into leaving the ring during a match with Alberto Del Rio and coming to his fiancee's aid in the trainer's room. It was a trap that allowed Orton to get the jump on his rival and leave him lying.
Brie is the one person in Bryan's life more important to him than his own career growth, the WWE title and any status as the face of WWE could ever be.
That is why she makes the perfect person for Orton to manipulate, to toy with in an attempt to get inside Bryan's head. Orton is a vindictive, cunning and cerebral villain who preys on the weaknesses of his opponents.
With the WWE title on the line and his chance to prove himself as the face of WWE, do not be surprised to see him threaten Brie or use her to force Bryan into making a choice he does not want to have to make.
