Football Hero of the Week: Fulham's Pajtim Kasami and His Van Basten Volley

There were plenty of contenders for this week's World Football Hero of the Week award—Jurgen Klopp for his Borussia Dortmund side's performance at the Emirates, or Jon Snow for his bold interview with this week's Yellow Card Alex Ferguson—but we've gone with someone who actually did something brilliant on the pitch.

Fulham midfielder Pajtim Kasami scored one of the Premier League goals of the season on Monday night with his absolutely stunning volley from the edge of the area in the Cottagers' 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Some are comparing it to Marco van Basten's wonder strike at Euro '88

The Swiss midfielder was an outcast at Fulham not so long ago, but he has put himself on everyone's radar with this sublime piece of skill.
