Geno Smith: Recapping Smith's Week 7 Fantasy Performance

RotoWireContributor October 21, 2013

Smith completed 17-of-33 passes for 233 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots. He also carried six times for 32 yards.
Inconsistency abounds for Smith, who took a step back in Week 6. Far from his best performance, he was better against New England. He was sacked four times, however, and cannot be trusted to carry his team to victory. He benefited from a monster performance from running back Chris Ivory, who took the pressure off Smith. One cannot expect the same to occur next week when the Jets take on a tough Cincinnati team.
