Before the 2013 NFL season the New York Jets were projected to be one of the worst teams in the league. Head Coach Rex Ryan was in the last year of his contract, and the hiring of John Idzik as general manager in the offseason made it seem as though Rex's days as a Jet were numbered.

Things in New York look very different now that the Jets have gotten off to a 4-3 start, just one game behind the division-leading Patriots. Is Rex saving his job in New York?
