Weeden completed 17-of-42 passes for 149 yards with a touchdown and an interception Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. He also carried twice for 20 yards.
Weeden avoided the crucial mistake that doomed the Browns in his last game. Unfortunately, the reason he was able to evade catastrophe is because Cleveland was blown out by a powerful Packers team. Weeden did not have a completion of 20 yards or more and failed to find his best weapon on the perimeter, connecting with Josh Gordon just twice for 21 yards.
