Green-Ellis had 10 carries for 24 yards Sunday in Cincinnati’s win over the Detroit Lions. He was a non-factor in the passing game, failing to even record a target.
Another disappointing performance from Green-Ellis, Sunday’s outing quells any building notion the Bengals are better suited leaning more heavily upon the veteran as a contending team. Atop the division, Cincinnati will continue to play the “hot” hand between Green-Ellis and Bernard, based solely on who gives the team a better chance to win.
