Cook hauled in four passes for 33 yards during the Rams' 30-15 loss to the Panthers on Sunday. He saw a team-high seven targets in this one as he finally saw some more extensive action in the passing game after being shut out most of the time in the games prior.
After a spectacular first week of the season, Cook's role in the offense had dramatically been reduced. The seven targets were the most he's seen since Week 4 and the hope is that he continues to see more looks come his way. With Sam Bradford now lost for the season, though, it's going to be difficult to sort things out on the Rams offensive front. Kellen Clemens will be taking over under center for the time being, so there is still a chance that he gets a more featured role in a short-passing situation.
