Brandon Marshall Injury: Updates on Bears WR's Status, Likely Return Date
Following the Chicago Bears' Week 7 loss to the Washington Redskins, Brandon Marshall was sent to the X-ray room at FedEx Field.
The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reported the news.
Marshall avoided serious injury and will be fine to continue playing.
Peggy Kusinski of NBC Chicago reported Marshall looked to be favoring his right wrist on his way back to the locker room.
#Bears Marshall just left XRay room & went back to locker room flexing his right wrist up & down— Peggy Kusinski (@peggykusinski) October 20, 2013
The wrist didn't appear to be giving him too many problems during the game. The veteran wideout finished with six receptions and 75 yards in the 45-41 loss.
Chicago must be wondering if things could get any worse. It lost the game on a Roy Helu touchdown with 45 seconds left. To add injury to insult, Jay Cutler had to leave the game early with a groin injury, via Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com.
And now Marshall may be dealing with an injury as well.
However, the Bears have a bye week coming up. They have a little extra time to let Marshall and Cutler heal before they have to get back on the field.
