Seven seconds.

That's how long it took Tim Cahill to score the opening goal of the New York Red Bulls' game against the Houston Dynamo on Sunday.

Taking down a long ball following the kick-off, the ex-Everton man gave goalkeeper Luis Robles no chance as he thumped home.

Seven seconds. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's a new MLS record for the fastest goal in the league's history.
